Pricing

Fixed prices announced upfront. No hidden software subscription.

I sell service, not licences. You are not paying for one more piece of software: you are paying for a process that runs, and it belongs to you.

Assessments all year round. New projects from November: I am in the middle of harvest season until then, and I would rather say so than have you find out.

How the fixed price is calculated

The price depends on what has to be connected, not on the hours I spend. You can place your own case before you even call me.

Case What defines it Fixed price
Simple One source, one destination, data already in order CHF 800
Standard Two systems to connect, data already in order CHF 1'200
Complex Two systems, plus extraction from free-form documents (PDFs, emails, photos) CHF 1'500
Beyond that Three systems or more, or data that has to be put in order first Two projects

Three rules that protect you as much as they protect me

  • One project, one process

The scope fits in a single sentence with no « and ». « Orders land in one consolidated list every morning » is a project. Adding delivery notes and invoices makes it three. That split is what makes a firm price possible.

  • 50% deposit at scoping

The balance on go-live. Nothing is invoiced until the scope is written down and signed.

  • Overrun ceiling at 150%

If I have misjudged by more than half, I stop: I deliver what works, document the rest, and refund you pro rata. You do not fund my misjudgements.

What is always true

  • Amounts in Swiss francs, excluding VAT where applicable.
  • The fixed price is set before we start and does not move as long as the scope does not move. Anything added along the way is handled as a costed amendment, never as a surprise invoice.
  • No licence fees, no software subscription imposed from my side.
  • Any third-party costs (hosting, APIs) are listed separately and charged at cost.
  • Code and data belong to you, from the first deliverable onwards.
Frequently asked

What people ask me before signing.

Do I have to change my current tools?

Almost never. Automation slots between the tools you already have. Replacing a tool that works is the surest way to stall a project for six months.

How long before I see a concrete result?

Two to four weeks for a first process running in parallel. The assessment itself already gives you a costed map in 45 minutes.

What happens if you are no longer available?

Code, configuration and documentation are with you from the first deliverable, in standard formats. Another developer can pick it up without me.

Do you work outside French-speaking Switzerland?

Yes, remotely across Switzerland and the EU. On-site visits are limited to French-speaking Switzerland and the Lake Geneva region, unless the mandate justifies otherwise.

Do you use my data to train models?

No. Your data serves your mandate and nothing else. Processing activities, hosting and any subprocessors are listed in a register handed over to you.

What is the smallest business you take on?

One person. Helvetic Vault's first client is a market garden: if the time saved is real, size doesn't matter.

Do you invoice in crypto?

No. Invoice in Swiss francs, payment by bank transfer. On-chain technology is a technical field I work in, not a payment method I impose.

What if my project isn't feasible?

I'll say so at the assessment, free of charge. A mandate launched on a shaky scope costs both sides more than an honest no.

The assessment is free and commits you to nothing.

Forty-five minutes, a written map of what can be automated in your business, and a number. What you do with it is up to you.
